Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) are a detailed assessment of a worker’s physical ability to meet the job’s physical requirements.  The results outline the worker’s physical strength, balance, dexterity, mobility and productive work tolerances.

During Most FCEs, the following measurements
are also taken:

  • Lifting power

  • Push and pull power

  • How long one can stand or walk

  • Flexibility and reaching

  • Grasping and holding capabilities

  • Bending capabilities

  • Balance capabilities

Functional Capacity Evaluations are conducted by a qualified therapist, with specialized training, clinical experience, and often courtroom experience.

1 day and 1/2 day FCEs are available.
